Custom Trim Features Hand-Carved Leaves in Hardwood

This room features large pocket doors and a wide, arched doorway that unites the living and dining areas. The arches were initially trimmed in plaster bump-outs, but we restained the hardwood to give the room a warmer atmosphere. Looking closely at the trim, you’ll see beautifully hand-carved leaves in the hardwood. This subtle yet captivating detail is one of the many ways this home brings nature indoors and remains true to its garden-centric feel.
